Last couple of weeks my baby girl was having very high fever. On the second day the fever got higher up to 39.3 celcius. Hence I have to take 2 days Emergency Leave looking at her condition. She never leave my side and I directly feed her as we need to put damp water on her head to reduce the temperature.
So this is what I got when I am requesting my boss to approve my EL.
Me: Boss, I need to take another EL since my daughter;s temperature is very high 39.3 celcius.
Boss: U have to find a reliable maid to help u monitor. Fever will come so often for babies up until 2 years old
Me: Sorry Boss..but her temperature is very high and it spike up within a minute. Her body is ok but her head is very hot. I am very worry about that.
Boss: u go to clinic
Me: Yes..went yesterday..now she is on antibiotic..but if the fever still like that will go to the hospital...
I just wonder...dont my boss use her brain that once my daughter had a fever I will definitely go to clinic..I am not the kind of mother who will just let the daughter sick and doing nothing..even worse, pass her to the maid..Maybe that is how she take care of her kids...and I DONT CARE...
Even if I have a doctor in house taking care of my kids..I still wanna hang around and check it myself of their condition..I trust nobody when it comes to my family...They are my life...so I dont care if I lose a job for something/someone I loves...
