Are u guys a member to Airasia Big Card already? Me no...shame on me because I just found out that they are having promotion for a day today.

If compared to any other miles reward offered by other airlines, I would say that this is the cheapest and affordable.

Now, need to apply one..

Langkawi Break

So beside of my busy life at work (it only busy during audit time), I still manage to apply for a leave. It is a last minute plan together with my parent. 

We start the journey at 4am for KL to Kuala Kedah and manage to get there by 10am. Little that we expect everyone is also going there since it is a long public holidays. So we only manage to grab for a ferry tickets at 1.30pm..

It is a long waiting with the three uneasy kids screaming, crying and running here and there..I really pity my husband having to carry all 5 bags with him since the jetty is out of trolley. Luckily, when we arrive, there are a lots of trolley available so we take 2 for convenience. 

We stayed at Farisya Homestay. For whoever travelling to Langkawi with the whole bunch of family, I would recommend you to contact this guy, Faizal.

It is soo spacious with air conditioning all over the house. The house is also very clean and he even provide with extra mattress and pillow. 4 bedrooms available with 3 bathroom.

At night, we went to this recommended seafood restaurant name Bamboo Beach.

Husband ordered Ikan Siakap Tiga Rasa, Sayur Kailan, Sotong Tepung, Tomyam Seafood and Ketam Black Pepper with Watermelon Juice all for RM159.

I find it really cheap if you compared it against Melaka's famous seafood place.

No pictures captured since we were all horribly hungry and all we could think of after food is sleep.

Just a lesson for everyone, do not go to Langkawi during public holidays. You may go there during school holidays but not public holiday..it is horrible and worsen with lots of people and all you could think of is just return back to your home. We do not even go to cable car or underwater world since the queue is mad. I think we will only get to the counter after 2 hours of queuing. So we say No to sightseeing and straight to shopping.
 
We bought 1 full box of chocolates and stop there when rethink that we might have to carry all the way from ferry to the terminal. If we do not think of that I guess husband would ended up buying 2-3 big boxes instead.

Since it is short notice holiday, we only manage to book the homestay for 2 nights. All hotel and most homestays were fully booked.

Now, I have to plan my future trip to Phuket. Hoping it's gonna be a relaxing one.

Raya Part 1

Macam banyak jer alkisah raya yang nak ditulis...padahal dah tak tau nak letak tittle lain..

Raya tahun nih seriously sunguh penat dan mencabar. Segmen, oh i lupe this and that happened soo many times...even before bertolak balik Johor, we have to return back twice..sampai dah sampai Bangi, kene patah balik sebab lupe baju raya mak bapak...and worst, esok nya bile dah sampai Johor lupe baju raya the kids..all mixed up sebab we have sorted out and kemas-kemas for bag ke Kelantan or the second raya...so tengah-tengah kelam kabut terletak baju raya the kids dalam bag nak g Kelantan..

Luckily teringat ari sabtu then we rushed to the shopping mall and bought the kids baju tshirt raya warna seakan-akan warna baju raya mak bapak...kalu ari Ahad baru perasan, mau nya semua pakai singlet ajer...huhuhu

We were at Johor for 1 and half day, then rushed back to KL since the second raya we need to go to Kelantan for my niece Aqiqah..A very tiring journey sebab we stuck in the jam and only reached Kelantan after 10 hours. Ingatkan dah raya jalan pon horah-hurray la, rupanya tidak...

Dekat Kelantan, nak pegi 5km pon dan nak satu jam..worst than KL..so we ended up lepaking at the guest house. 

On Wednesday, before we kick start our journey to Cherating, we stopped at Pengkalan Kubor for a shopping time. Dapatlah tiga ekor kuda..and nasiblah bawak Starex...dah macam sardin...

The whether dekat Kelantan adalah sangat panas and resulted the kids to get cough and flu pretty bad. The journey to Cherating took another 10 hours and by the time we reached the Hotel semua dah lembik..

On Thursday, afternoon, we start our journey back home. Selamat tak jam dekat Karak Highway...

By Friday morning, we brought the kids to the Hospital Pantai for medicine and spent RM390. Seriusly not a very nice Raya at all. No family pictures, no main bunga api and so on...Abis masa kat journey saja..I wonder people yang origin from Kelantan..every year they have to face it. How do they survive?..or they are used to it?...hmmm...

Anyway, Selamat Hari Raya from my little princess...

Dari Kuala Lumpur to London

Hati teringin sangat nak g tour Europe. Dulu mase belaja tak sempat nak tour...nyesal tak sudah..tambang kalu dari Kuala Lumpur ke Londin itself dah makan ribuan..itu baru sorang..takkan nak biarkan anak-anak kat rumah dengan mak..kang bile diaorg besar, kite lak kene tinggal..

Jadi ditatkala takleh nak tido, I pegi website MAS, nak tengok berapa harga tambang pegi balik dari KL to Heathrow for 2 adults and 3 children. Terbeliak mata tengok total RM16+++. Haiyoh..takleh jadi (kalau bonus dapat 10 bulan takpe la jugak)..Airasia pon dah tak gih London (dengar kata betul atau tidak tak tau ler)

So cube la carik airlines lain..still harga pon around there. Si cube pulak kalau connecting flight...pandai-pandai gih carik connecting flight yang ader..memang agak remeh...dari tak leh tido terus ngantok...tapi hati masih nak tau harga tambang paling murah...Kalu naik airasia bole gih sampai New Delhi, India. From there naik another flight sampai Istanbul, Turkey. Dari Istanbul naik la Euro railways. The best about train nih bole tour europe gune 1 pass. Tak salah harga dalam USD750. The best part is kids below 4 years old tak yah bayar..tak macam airlines lebih 2 tahun jer kene bayar..So i kire total tambang adalah RM10+++. Cheaper by RM6+++. Some more bole tour europe lagi...

Tapi bile pikir balik, kalau gih ramai-ramai bole la...tapi kalau setakat my mini family bole pitam. Nak angkut 3 budak dengan perangai masing-masing...simpan jer la angan-angan..tunggu kaya sikit lagi bole la..Mungkin untuk 2-4 tahun nih kite round asia sudah..ade vacation club tak gune pon..buat rugi jer...takpe..this year kite mulakan dengan Universal Studio, Singapore ok!!

Johor Legoland

There gonna be soo many things open up in Johor. Recently is Johor Prelium Outlet. Next would be Legoland. On saturday we went to Bangsar Village 2 and saw the Lego Building Event. Today I googled for Legoland website and I saw that they have come out with the prices.

Holiday

It’s been a while since me and my mini family’s last vacation. If I can recall, it was Sabah which is before Aisha was born. I year 4 months man!!!!...that’s long!!!...no wonder I really need one right now….

Short vacation should be acceptable as I don’t have enough annual leave to be utilized. Beside, I need to put aside all the annual leave balance for next year afraid that any of the kids fall sick or admitted to the hospital (let hope not. This year only Aqeel has been admitted twice and Aisha once. There goes my leave).

Lets hope husband approve my wish list..

Travel with Aqeel

Its been 1 month since our last vacation to KK, Sabah and I dont have time to update on it. But what I can say, travelling with Aqeel give me a new experience.

I have done a lot of reseach before our departure day, scared that he will get cranky in the plane..however, my thought is wrong..he enjoyed being in the plane while playing with the paper...It just that, we are not prepared to bring his milk and biscuit with us...instead we put it in the safe box above us..(yg simpan barang atas kepala..i dont know what is the name)..since we are taking Airasia (which is a big mistake but the price is cheap) it is quite difficult to go out and take the things...luckily, the person next to us is just a kid..once he get his milk, he sleep soundly until touch down. *so as a reminder, u need to put aside your baby's belonging under ur seat to enable u to get whatever u want without disturbing other people*

TIPS during take off and touch down

One of the main sources of discomfort for infants traveling on airplanes is the change in cabin pressure when taking off and landing. This causes pressure in the ears, and can be quite painful for the baby, particularly if the baby has a stuffy nose. Prepare for this by planning to nurse or give a bottle or pacifier to the child during take-offs and landing to help alleviate the pressure.

Vacation club

My husband and I are subscribing for the membership club from the Palace of the Golden Horses. The tenure of the membership is 38 years in which I can later pass it over to my children. The only benefits that I think must grab is the accommodation that they can offer for our vacation. For example, our last trip to Port Dickson, if without the membership would be RM300 per night. The free accommodation is only available for their range of resorts (within Malaysia) and affiliated (overseas) such as London, Spain, Malta and so on..

If the location of the vacation is not in the list, I can go to RCI (Resort Condominium International) and pay approximately RM1,500 for 7 days stay. My entitlement for the club is 7 days for 2 years, meaning I have to utilize my 7 days of vacation or it will be forfeited. Each day I entitled for 2 hotel rooms or an apartment (4-6 person). In addition to that, since we just joined the club, we had been given additional 7 days which will be expired by end of next year. So simple math it will only cost RM107 per room per night. For me, it is quite cheap since the hotels offered is not kinda motel level and we are talking about overseas hotel.

The sad news is we are restricted from traveling overseas by my mom as our son is only 2 years old and by then I will be having another baby. Hence, we have to obey to the elder beside she has been taking care of the son since birth. Hence, my next few years vacation will only be within Malaysia. Since I dont want to waste the benefits, I would like to offer to the public who is interested please let me know. Charges will be informed personally.

Port Dickson Trip

Since lat Friday is a public holiday, we take this opportunity to go for a vacation to Port Dickson. This is Aqeel's first vacation. We stayed in Ancasa Resort which is located at Pantai Teluk Kemang. Here are the pictures of the Apartment.

We did not pay anything since we are the Palace Vacation Club Members. I will tell u about the benefit in next post.

Not much picture taken since Aqeel is uncontrollable. I only managed to capture his picture in the pool and sea.

Beside that, we had our marvelous seafood dinner at Nazreen Seafood located somewhere there. If you want to eat here, u need to come a bit later around 10 pm or u ended lined up in a queue for table. But definitely 85% marks given by husband. The prices are cheap too...4 adults for RM60. We order Lala masak ala thai, ikan siakap stim limau, baby bean goreng telur, ketam masak black pepper and 6 different juice drinks. Cheap right???
