Lego Duplo

I always thought that Lego only has small blocks and not suitable for kids under age of 4 years old. Little did I know that in actual facts Lego has a special version for kids from age 1 and half years old to 3 years old called Lego Duplo. I only know about this version during my visit to Legoland.

LEGO® DUPLO preschool building toys are specially designed for the small hands and big imaginations of children aged 1½ - 5 years. DUPLO bricks are twice the size of standard LEGO bricks, making them a great way to kick off a child’s building career. DUPLO is all about giving your child the opportunity to build, create, and develop while discovering so many ways to play!

From the age of 0 to 2 years, you will experience that your child transforms into a fully-fledged person that can walk, eat and talk. His/her character and personality will gradually develop and add many enjoyable moments to your life. At this age, your child will be able to understand more than he/she can express, so play will be the way to explore the world.

You can introduce LEGO® DUPLO bricks and play sets when your child is 1 ½ years old – together you can start stacking the bricks or look at the different colours in different combinations. As his/her fine motor skills come along, you’ll experience that your child will gradually succeed with basic stacking. The small DUPLO animals are very iconic and they are great for practicing their names and their individual sounds.

Legoland My Review

My comment is the theme park is super best!!...a lots of rides to enjoy..

But first of all, let me comment on their ticketing process. I must say that it is such a failure. I have to queue almost 2 hours under a heat sun to get the annual pass. I have bought the pass early this year via online and in my opinion, they should process it i.e email all the purchaser to submit they details and picture via email. Then they can processed it and post the annual pass card by post to every annual pass holder. That would reduce the queue significantly and the process would be smooth..isn't that easy?...

The restaurants is also a hold back of the theme park since their service is very slow especially during lunch hour and  the limited foods available.

Besides these two things, everything is just fine. The crowd is expected hence, I wont comment on that. But later I guess when time goes by, less people will be coming in. Same like JPO where now you can shop peacefully.

Raya di Legoland

Raya tahun nih paling best dan meriah sebab Legoland dah bukak. Of cpurse not on the first day of Raya. raya kan sebulan. The grand opening will be held on 15 September 2012. Since mahu ke Legoland haruslah ke Premium Outlet sekali...Satu jalan kan...(mak yang eksaited, anak tak kesah pon)..

By the way, korang dah beli tiket ke? I have already bought mine for one year punye visit hokey!!

I just got to know about this place. Quite a good place to bring your kids.

KidZania provides children and their parents a safe, unique, and very realistic educational environment that allows kids between the ages of four to twelve to do what comes naturally to them: role-playing by mimicking traditionally adult activities. As in the real world, children perform "jobs" and are either paid for their work (as a fireman, doctor, police officer, journalist, shopkeeper, etc.) or pay to shop or to be entertained. The indoor theme park is a city built to scale for children, complete with buildings, paved streets, vehicles, a functioning economy, and recognizable destinations in the form of "establishments" sponsored and branded by leading multi-national and local brands. 

 The reason I'm writing this post is just to let parent out there know that it is opening real soon in Kuala Lumpur. The exact location is near The Curve. I just make a call to the Centre, and the actual Opening Date is 28 February 2012 and they are doing the road tour at The Curve on 28 January until 31 January 2012. I dont really recall the last date. The entry fee for kids 2 to 3 years is RM30  and they must be accompanied by an adult in which the entry fee is RM35. For kids 4-17 years old, the entry fee is RM55.

As I asked the Centre, there is no Opening Promotion, but you may catch the tour (hoping there is some discount). So what are you waiting for. Go to Malaysia KidZania website now for more details!!

Port Dickson Trip

Since lat Friday is a public holiday, we take this opportunity to go for a vacation to Port Dickson. This is Aqeel's first vacation. We stayed in Ancasa Resort which is located at Pantai Teluk Kemang. Here are the pictures of the Apartment.

We did not pay anything since we are the Palace Vacation Club Members. I will tell u about the benefit in next post.

Not much picture taken since Aqeel is uncontrollable. I only managed to capture his picture in the pool and sea.

Beside that, we had our marvelous seafood dinner at Nazreen Seafood located somewhere there. If you want to eat here, u need to come a bit later around 10 pm or u ended lined up in a queue for table. But definitely 85% marks given by husband. The prices are cheap too...4 adults for RM60. We order Lala masak ala thai, ikan siakap stim limau, baby bean goreng telur, ketam masak black pepper and 6 different juice drinks. Cheap right???
