Upon confirmation with paed and gynae..here is the correct breastmilk storage:-
1) If the milk is stored in refrigerator it can last up to 72 hours.
2) If the milk is stored in freezer, it can last up to 6 months.
3) If you buy ice cream freezer and open it once a week, it can be lasted for 1 year.
4) Once you warmed up the milk, it can be used for the next 8 hours only.

ReplyDeleteAdakah bermaksud susu dr freezer kita panaskan (warm)? ni boleh tahan 8hours kalau kat suhu bilik ke?
saya selalu dari freezer letak kat fridge bawah dulu semalaman..kasi cair..lepas tuh baru masuk dlm botol (sebab saya gune plastic) panaskan dlm warmer tahan 8 jam..tapi kalu bole saya letak 4 oz jer setiap botol..xmo la bg susu kat anak tuh yg lama2 kan..

ReplyDeleteini saya dpt info dari gynae saya kat Pantai Cheras ngan Paed kat HUKM..same answer...tapi kalu bole jgn la smpi 8 jam kan..kita kalu bole nak bg yg fresh...kalu bole masukkan dlm botol tuk skali minum..
